The Apollo's bulbs ozone-free, germicidal emitting 60 Watt bulbs. Good for 9,000 hours making it the longest lasting disinfection method in any toolshed.
UVC light is a disinfecting light. It passes through germ cell walls, breaking them down from the inside out.
Clinically proven to effectively kill and inactivate up to 99.99% of bacteria, germs, viruses, allergens, and mold. Tested in independent labs.
Place the unit in a room, choose your sanitizing length, and turn the unit on. This queues up the sanitizing cycle, and will only start after you leave the room.
Once you leave, Apollo turns on and the sanitizing cycle begins. UVC light shines the room for the duration of your chosen cycle.
Then, when finished Apollo turns off and you come back to a clean and germ free room.

We designed Apollo with everyday use in mind. The glass is doped quartz, blocking lower "ozone" wavelengths. Emitting ozone-free germicidal UV-C for 9,000 hours of use.
The Apollo emits ultraviolet light at 253.7 nanometers with 60 watts using dual bulbs to cover small or large spaces 36 ft in a circle (1000 ft²). Sanitation cycles range from 15 minutes to 60 minutes.
When germs are hit by UV-C it passes directly to their DNA and RNA, destroying their proteins. This kills germs and inactivates viruses. Used for decades in the hospital industry as an effective sanitation method.
The Apollo has three panasonic sensors located at the base of the lamp that automatically shut-off if any unexpected visitors or pets come within five meters. Delayed activation allows for ease of leaving the area, as well as coming with UV-C protective eyewear & remote control capabilities.
Apollo can help remove surface & airborne viruses like HC-OC43, a proxy virus for SARS-CoV-2, which travel in tiny droplets that can linger for hours before settling on surfaces.

We subdivide UV light into three types, UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C. UV-C is can not pass the atmosphere.
Since it cannot pass through the atmosphere, pathogens can not build up immunities.
UV-C passes through the weak walls of microorganisms and disrupts their DNA and RNA.
This is essentially a high output transfer of energy that is highly effective at killing germs.
UVC is used in water purification, HVAC systems, laboratories, and hospitals.
It's a chemical free sanitizing method.
UV-C light is safe to use, with restrictions.
It is not recommended to be in the room when using the Apollo.
We have strong outer layers of skin and protection so short exposure is okay but its never recommended.
Longer exposure can cause irritations.
The Apollo uses an ozone-free bulb and produces no ozone.
There is a 10 second delay to start The Apollo, and uses 5-meter motion detection sensors for pets and unexpected visitors.
The Apollo comes with UV-C protective glasses and a remote, if you wish to use the unit from a distance.
UV-C light is an excellent method to kill mold and other types of allergens.
The disinfection effect from UV-C light isn’t something organic allergens or bacteria can build up a tolerance to.
This will work for musty smells as well.
UV-C light does have to shine on the area to disinfect. UV-C light has very low reflection rates, and can not even pass through glass. For good disinfection in a room, we recommend more than one unit.
It is also a possibility to move the unit around once or twice to ensure good room sanitation levels.
If a user is looking to disinfect an entire room with The Apollo, then we recommend three units placed in uniform throughout the room. This ensures no shadows and a complete disinfection cycle.
UV-C can't pass through standard glass.
It can pass through quartz, which is what our bulbs are made out of. It is completely safe to look at UVC light through standard glass.
The blue light passes through. The ultraviolet (unseen) germicidal light will be stopped in its tracks from glass and other transparent plastics.
UV-C does not cause any type of germ immunity buildup. These resistances are formed form as a reaction of chemical compounds breaking down germs. UV-C is chemical-free.
It operates very differently than chemical compounds. There is no chance for germs to buildup a resistance, as the light is essentially just transferring massive amounts of energy directly to the DNA or RNA of the germ.
It's like saying germs will buildup an immunity to heat. While possible for a few very rare germs, it's not for common ones and it is even more "far fetched" for UV-C.
